A brand-new home at one of the region’s most exciting new developments is in store for local couple Amelia Kethro and Jake Fareham.
The pair, both 22, have each lived in Yate with family since birth and wanted to stay within easy reach of loved ones. They chose David Wilson Homes’ Ladden Garden Village for its excellent location, and for the high specification of homes on offer.
“This is our first home together, and we really liked the idea of a new-build,” said Amelia. “Being part of the first phase here is great. We recently got to lay one of the first bricks, and we can’t wait to move in to our two bedroom home. The layout is superb, and we’re pleased with the end plot position we have.”
Wilford house design
The Wilford house design is a stylish new home with an attractive fitted kitchen. The spacious open-plan lounge with dining area and French doors to the garden make this home a bright and pleasant place to live. There’s also a cloakroom and some handy under stair storage. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom.
“Ladden Garden Village is perfectly situated for commuting to Gloucester and Bristol, and we love the area,” added Jake. “Brimsham is good for parks and green spaces – and the development is close to Yate shopping centre and schools too.
“Everyone at David Wilson Homes has been extremely helpful – making this a very personal experience. We’re among the very first buyers here, so Ladden Garden Village is a new development for the sales team too. But they’ve kept us in the loop throughout, and have provided us with some really useful advice. Now we’re keeping an eye on our new home being built and looking forward to the day we move in!”
Forming new community
Ladden Garden Village features an impressive range of two, three and four bedroom homes, forming part of a new community in Yate. As part of this exciting neighbourhood, there will be a primary school, nursery and local centre – as well as large areas of open space and sports pitches.
New offices will also create plenty of employment opportunities. For those working further afield, commuting is easy – with the M4 just 15 minutes away, and Bristol city centre is just 12 miles.
