He and partner Charlotte Hubbard (21) were living with parents in Portishead, 20 or so miles away, but wanted a home of their own. After extensive internet research, they turned their attentions to Yate.
“We kept our eyes open for any new developments – and Ladden Garden Village offered exactly what we were looking for,” said Jordan. “As first-time buyers, we had been saving for some time and knew what we could afford. The two-bedroom Wilford suited our needs, and our budget, perfectly. It was great to reserve it on my 21st birthday.
“We were also aware of the build quality we could expect here – and the five-star reputation. Everyone at David Wilson Homes has been amazing throughout the buying process – especially Millie and Claire in the sales office, and Neil and Adam in the aftercare team. We’re delighted to be all settled in here.”
Part of a new community in Yate
Ladden Garden Village forms part of a new community in Yate, with a range of two, three and four bedroom homes. As part of this exciting new neighbourhood there will be a primary school, nursery and local centre, as well as large areas of open space and sports pitches. New offices will also create plenty of employment opportunities.
“Already, we have made some good friends on our street, and it seems many of us have taken advantage of some great David Wilson Homes offers when buying,” added Charlotte. “From upgraded kitchens to contributions towards deposits, it all helps when you’re first starting out.
“We have everything we need here in Yate, and we barely need to leave the town, apart from when we’re going to work or visiting family. The M4 and M5 motorways are only 15 to 20 minutes away, so commuting is very easy,
“There is a big shopping centre nearby too, so we never have far to go for supplies. We’re very happy here.”
Current availability at Ladden Garden Village includes the three bedroom Ashurst, Greenwood and Hadley house designs, priced from £310,000, £325,000 and £365,000 respectively, and the four bedroom Ingleby, Cornell and Holden homes, from £370,000, £460,000 and £485,000.
