Housebuilders’ site managers have stars in their eyes

Five is the magic number for leading housebuilders Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes in South Wales.

They are celebrating their status as five star housebuilders for the 10th consecutive year by presenting their five NHBC award winning site managers with a star to mark the impressive milestones.

Managing director Steve Williams said the five site managers, who work on new homes developments across South Wales, deserved out of this world recognition for their achievements.

“We wanted to say a special thank you to our award winning site managers and having been awarded five star rating for 10 years in the Home Builders Federation Customer Satisfaction Survey inspired us to name a star after each of them, said Steve. “They do an amazing job to create top quality new homes and contributed to our five star status.”

The five stars were presented to James Bannister who is working at Sycamore Chase in Boverton, Chris Davies at King’s Wood Gate, Monmouth, Paul Oakley at Goitre Fach in St Fagans and John Popple who is working at Waterside @ The Quays in Barry. Honours also go to Rebecca Roberts for her work at St Michael’s Gate in Llantarnam.

Known as the “Oscars of the housebuilding industry”, the Pride in the Job Quality awards recognise the best run building sites in the country and are the highest accolade a site manager can achieve.
