Housebuilder donates £1400 to Petersfield Town Juniors Football Club

Petersfield Town Juniors Football Club has received a boost this month – thanks to a donation from David Wilson Homes.

The club is a highly respected local sports resource, situated close to where David Wilson Homes is bringing new homes to the area through its Causeway Park development.

Now the football club’s under 12s Pumas team has been chosen as a recipient of funding from David Wilson Homes, as an organisation improving the quality of life for youngsters living in the region.

Supporting those living in local area

“This is our pledge to support those living in areas where we are helping to create new communities,” said Jon Green, managing director for David Wilson Homes Southampton. “It is important that we build strong relationships with local charities and organisations, so I’m delighted that we are able to support such an important grass roots sports club here.

“The money will be used towards a new kit, training kit and manager training tops – and we hope they will wear them with pride.

“We’ll be following the team’s progress very closely, and wish them huge success and enjoyment over the coming seasons.”

Martin Ewen from the football club said: “We’re absolutely over the moon with this donation and David Wilson Homes’ kind generosity. It has enabled the team to receive a new kit and tracksuits for the entire squad and management.”
