First time buyers in Somerton will be able to find out how they can take their first step onto the property ladder at a special event this month.
The event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, will arm potential homeowners with information they need to help them take the first step on the property ladder, including details of Government schemes that can make buying easier.
“Patch Meadows has an excellent selection of homes for first time buyers to choose from – not least a wide range of two bedroom properties,” said sales director, Louise Ware. “Many of the homes here at Patch Meadows are well within reach, thanks to Help to Buy – designed to give buyers a boost onto the first rung of the ladder.”
The Help to Buy scheme is available on all new-build homes up to £600,000 at Patch Meadows. Buyers can become owners with just a five percent deposit of the property value of their new home. Many lenders are able to offer a loan-to-value mortgage because the UK Government provides a guarantee of up to 20 per cent.
Visitors to the event on October 12 will be able to find out more about Help to Buy, as well as explore the development’s show homes.
Current availability at Patch Meadows includes the popular two bedroom Wilford style home, from £205,000 and the three-bedroom Ashurst style home from £290,000.
