Barratt Homes to host launch event for new development phase at Birds Marsh View

Brand new show homes at the second phase of Birds Marsh View in Chippenham will be officially launched next weekend – with Barratt Homes hosting an exciting festive launch event to celebrate.

The event will be held between 4pm and 7:30pm on Thursday December 5, and will arm buyers with a wealth of information, designed to help them with their property buying journey.

Visitors will be able to step inside the stunning two bedroom Kenley show home, and the three bedroom Maidstone design, both giving an insight into the quality and potential for properties being built at the site.

There will also be the opportunity to reserve one of the stylish three and four-bedroom properties on offer, with the first homes due to be ready early in 2020.

Andrea Pilgrim, sales director at Birds Marsh View said: “We are expecting high demand for this second phase – so we urge anybody who is interested in living at this fantastic development to pop down and join us for a glass of Prosecco and a mince pie (or two).

“With it being so close to Christmas, owning a brand new home may seem unachievable but we would like to assure house hunters that our properties here are affordable – thanks to Help to Buy.”

The Help to Buy scheme

Help to Buy allows any homebuyer to secure a brand-new home under the value of £600,000 with just a five per cent deposit. The government lends the buyer 20 per cent of the value of the property in the form of an interest free equity loan for five years, meaning that buyers then gain access to some of the great mortgage rates currently available with just a 75 per cent mortgage. Available to all homebuyers, not just first timers, the scheme helps anyone looking for a boost up the property ladder.

Something for everyone

“Birds Marsh View offers something for everyone,” added Andrea. “As well as its stunning homes, its rural location is a real selling point, offering easy reach to good schools, shops and amenities. For commuters, the M4 motorway is four miles away, and provides easy access to Swindon, Bristol and London.”
